Hi,
Please, i intend to apply for tourist visa to visit Canada in October, 2019 for 8days.

Am current working and living with a family of three in QATAR.

I have a salary of over 6,000 Canadian dollar per month.

I have traveled to Switzerland and Germany twice and also visited UK and Dubai.

I also plan to have 25,000 Canadian dollar for the trip and will be submitting a bank statement that will show about 38,000 Canadian Dollar.

I dont have relatives in Canada as i will be booking a hotel.

Please what is my chances of getting my visa approved?

Here are the basic requirements to get a visitor visa
· you have a valid travel document (passport)
· you are in good health
· you have no criminal or immigration-related convictions
· you can convince an immigration officer that you have ties—such as a job, home, financial assets or family—that will take you back to your home country
· you can convince an immigration officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your visit
· you have enough money for your stay
> funds to carry out your stated purpose in going to Canada

I'm not a visa officer but your profile seems promising.

Thank you @kat3onah for your response.
However, is there any thing i need to show that i have no criminal or immigration-related convictions? Do tourist visa requires police clearance certificate?

Am a Nigerian resident in Qatar.
Since you are not living in Nigeria itself that could weaken your ties to your home country (Nigeria). It is possible for them to think that since you have left Nigeria to Qatar you may stay in Canada. It is a refusal reason I have seen.

You have travel history to countries they look for and have sufficient funds, your job is well paying.

Getting a visa while a temporary resident in another country is usually difficult. You'll have to show very strong ties to Nigeria otherwise you can expect a refusal.

What of my family(Wife and Son) here in Qatar with me on resident status? Is it not a strong tie?

Nope - because you can move to Canada first and then bring them over later. Many people try and do that.

You have to show ties to your country of citizenship. The Middle East has become unfriendly to foreigners recently and many people are trying to immigrate. You need to show that you aren't trying to do that.

What's your purpose of visit?

Sorry I thought you were brining the family with you on the trip hence your $25,000 cost estimate. If they are staying back that is a tie.

You can of course apply, but make sure you show strong ties to Nigeria. You may still be refused, but your profile is reasonably strong.

No harm in applying. What is your purpose? You wish to tour for just 8 days and alone without your family?
My purpose is visiting/Tourist. That is when my leave was approved as i am working on a fast-track project. I will not be travelling with my family as i have an infant.
