But that answers some people's question. I saw some posted if they choose to land and live in a different province, would that affect their PNP. I think the answer is that depends.
I think landing in a different province would be okay, say, if it's a transit, or a short visit or something. But admitting to the border agent that you will be working in Halifax, after trying to land as an NL nominee, that's problematic, because you need to have an intent to live in NL after NL PNP, and choosing to work in Halifax right after landing contradicts that.

Sorry, I do not take private messages.

As an FYI, the people I know who lost PR because of this AND were deported AND banned for misrepresentation were DISCOVERED by IRCC when:

1. They applied for a new PR card
2. They applied for citizenship

Yes, this meant that they have been in Canada for a while and ALL of them APPEALED and subsequently LOST their appeal. I remember 2 of them even appealed based on H&C that there were Canadian biological children that needed them to stay in the country.
Thanks for your reply, it's greatly appreciated.
It means they were caught when the people renewed the PR or citizenship and not before that.

Hi there,
I am MPNP PR. Currently i am living in Brandon with my husband and we got our PR card here and We’re planning to move from here to Ontario. I have been here for eight months and we both can not find a good job here.
I have a question that how long I have to stay in Manitoba before moving?
After moving out from Manitoba does that affects on my PR or citizenship?
From other discussions it looks like moving won’t be a problem but still need your feedback and help.
Please and thank you

Were you sponsored by friends or family?

Moving out of Manitoba would prevent your friend from ever being able to sponsor a family or friend ever again. Why not try another city in Manitoba?

Ya I think so, thanks for your help. But I still want to know how long do i need to stay here?
I thought it was at least 2 years but I can’t find the information. It will be in the application since you have to sign agreeing to not be able to sponsor ever again ifthe people you sponsor relocate to another province.

Answer is Zero- you can relocate anytime !
The person was sponsored by friend of family. If they move their friend/family can never sponsor again. There was also a recent case where a MPNP candidate lost their PR when they moved straight to BC so you do have to move to the sponsoring province first (this is the case). In this particular case there is a moral issue. After a friend/family was nice enough to sponsor the couple I think it would be awful if they prevented the friend/family from potentially sponsoring their family in the future. I am sure when this couple asked their friends to sponsor them they agreed to remain in Manitoba as long as they needed to (believe it is 2 years) so their friends could sponsor people in the future if they wanted to.

Concur from a moral/ethical standpoint. However, from a legal perspective this person can reside/move anywhere he wish according to the law of the land.

It’s so true that his/her friend will not be able to sponsor, and I don’t think that will deter this person from relocating.

Hope you are wrong. After their friends were nice enough to sponsor them to come to Canada that would be very cruel.
