Pakistani Student : If anyone get visa Successfully before 8 Weeks

Hi All,
My sister has applied for Student visa on July 8th in University of Regina for September in take. She is from Pakistan. and processing time is 8 weeks for Pakistani student as per CIC.
Now she is going for her Biometric on July 16th .It also mentioned in the CIC website that "The time it takes you to give your biometrics isn't included in the application processing time"
Having said that she only has 6 weeks left to process her visa application .
Do you think this limited time can effect her visa application if all other pre requiste are good?

This will not impact her visa - she will either get it or not, but they won't deny her a visa simply because she may miss a few days of college. They will give her the visa based on the totality of her application.

It can be an issue for the college, but they must be used to international students occasionally coming a few weeks after the start of the semester. You can check with them.

@Mahreesha My visa was processed in about six weeks from Pakistan, if everything goes well, she has enough time. I am assuming the medicals were upfront, if not the medical request in my case came after 20 days so that should be the case. Rest the PPR request should come soon after medicals passed. good luck

Thank you Tkhan, No she didn't do upfront medical and also Biometric appointment, which was today , has been canceled due to Server Down in Lahore Biometric Center .
But we are hoping for the best
Which course have you applied for? and which University?

Did you get an alternate appointment? the process would have begun without them, but medical request would only come after doing biometrics (thats my understanding) I would say walk-in without an appointment and get it done asap telling them the reason and that appointment was not entertained earlier
have you linked your application the GCKEY (helps in tracking)
there is still ample time, hopefully everything gets sorted before the start of Uni

Lahore Biometric Office said " We have internal Server issue and appointment will be resumed as our issue will be solved " but my sister got alternate appointment (online) on first available slot which is on 18th. But she also planning to walk-in tomorrow aswell .
I will ask her to link her application to GCKEY.
