On July 8 my ecas has been updated saying they send some correspondence but i didn't receive any email and when i called them after couple of days they are saying they send an email for finger print request which i didn't receive it.

Now i have to wait 5 days before they send me the new email but i am surprised why i didn't receive any email everything is correct on their file and i did receive AOR through email correctly.

In case of worst scenario what should i do. can i do the finger print without the letter or i should wait till the letter comes in?
I assume you checked your spam folder / whitelisted the IRCC emails? You can't do the FPs without the letter unfortunately as far as I'm aware, the letter says:

Bring the following information with you to get your fingerprints taken:
this letter, so that your citizenship file number and the address of the citizenship office
requesting your fingerprints are noted on the fingerprint form;

I don't know if you can just take your file number (from AOR) along. Do you even know your office? It's not always the closest one geographically. Though sometimes it could be obvious (ie: there's only one in a few provinces). You could phone IRCC and ask about that.

Trying to call them for the past week - since their automated system is not working, either the wait times are too long, or they cannot transfer to an agent due to high volume of calls :( - thanks for your response nonetheless.
Getting a hold or IRCC is a pain. I believe this is for a few reasons, but this list is not official or one assumes exhaustive ...

1) Lack of staff numbers
2) Staff unwilling to answer phones, perhaps dedicated to rapid processing
3) People calling in for no good reason. ie: I applied 3 months ago and have been IP for a month when will I get my test invite
4) Lack of a decent website (my single call was to confirm they got my FPs because there was no update after May 6th despite them finishing processing within a few weeks). A decent website would also provide FP/Test invites etc... for those that don't get the email for whatever reason!

All you can really do is keep calling and eventually you'll get into a long queue. Calling at the very start of the day and on different days (they claim some days are quieter than others) may help. I have a daily calls so had to call in late morning but did eventually get through.

I real feel IRCC doesn't help themselves here. But can't do much about it :(

Edit: I see from your post you applied in Jan and have been IP for a while. Point 3 above (calling in for no good reason) wasn't directed at you. But, there are a large number of people (normally those who start new threads) who seem to expect an update within days of submitting their application. Which would be nice, but the IRCC is pretty explicit that the routine applications average 12 months, so I think expecting faster turn around from any government agency is somewhat unrealistic.

Thanks alots buddy.
one last question. since you said u applied in January 2019 and got AOR did you list 2014 with No/No
Sorry to be 100% clear here I listed:

2014 | Yes | Yes
2015 | Yes | Yes
2016 | Yes | Yes
2017 | Yes | Yes

I should have listed 2018 Yes No (as don't do my taxes until after Feb 28th).
I've also been IP for 3 months and got a FP request though ;) While many others are in the same boat ... others have gotten further.
Perhaps neglecting to complete questions increases chance of FP and delays? Or maybe that's too much a conspiracy theory.

Attended citizenship ceremony yesterday and today my ECAS status changed to Complete. I think I can apply for a passport already. Anyway my journey to canadian citizenship has ended. I wish everyone on this forum will experience the same feelings as I did yesterday. Best of luck to everyone!

I was studying spreadsheet of 2018.

Mississauga and Brampton have to wait loongest that is 09 Months from In Process to Test Invite.

I think same is case for Milton.

Other GTA and Toronto are 3-4 months wait for test invite.

In process = Sep 04 2018 , Sep 04 2018 , Sep 05 2018

Test Invite = Jun 05 2019 , Jun 05 2019 , Jun 05 2019

You must wait at least two business days after your ceremony before you can apply for a passport.

Interesting stats. I heard/read somewhere that IRCC were moving things between offices to try and speed things up. Mine is the other side of the GTA (Scarborough) based on my FP. I'm at just 3 months since IP, but even at 9 months IRCC probably consider that "within 12 months" and given even FP makes my application non-routine it's anyones guess...

my test after 2 days and they asked in the letter the following:
 all your original documents that support your citizenship application (as listed in the document
checklist in the citizenship application form);

what does that mean?

Whatever you submitted in your application for example, your IELTS report or degree/diploma certificate. You need to take the originals of them.
And of course, your original driver's licence/photo ID, health card, PR card, all passports.
