study permit for minor

hello friends
i am applying for open work permit for canada because my wife is studying over there. i have 3 years old baby. can i apply his study permit from here.

Did you not read the guidance for minors at preschool / kindergarten age and also minors accompanying a study visa holder ?

I have a similar question.

We are a family of 3. Myself, wife and a 6 year old son. I will be applying for Intra-company transfer work specific visa from UK (We already have UK passport) along with open work permit for wife.

I am not sure which visa should I apply for my 6 year old son and which form to use.

After reading on the internet, I am a bit confused as few are saying that a study permit would be needed for my 6 year old son as he will be going to primary (elementary) school. Any guidance would be appreciated!
