Upfront Medical Query

Hi, I am from India and I am trying to apply for a study permit online.
I have an acceptance letter from a designated institute.

I'm aware of the numerous threads that are here for upfront medical. The closest query was found in this thread - https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/upfront-medical-exam.431064/
But the resolution posted did not work for me.

After having filled the questionnaire, I am presented with a checklist of documents that I need to upload.
I am aware that one can opt for "Upfront Medical" and then upload the acknowledgement on the online portal

But my problem is that I don't see the option to upload the medical form.

I even tried changing my answer to "Yes" and "No" for the question -
"Have you had a medical exam performed by an IRCC authorized panel physician (doctor) within the last 12 months?"

But there is no change in the document list required.

Can anyone help me? I want to opt for upfront medical, but I don't see the option to upload it's result/acknowledgement.

Are you applying for SDS or you are going for the normal study permit application ?

I am going for the normal study permit application.
I believe in that case you just have to do it upfront and submit it when asked. I don't think you can attach it immideatly if you are not getting the option while applying online.

Okay, but why does the option to upload medical show up for some applicants?
Or, Is it the case that it's only for SDS?

Thx Selvakk

I believe that is only for SDS students.
Okay, so I can
1. Go ahead and get my upfront medical done by one of the panel physicians.
2. They will give me some kind of acknowledgement letter.
3. Submit my Study Permit Application (Online) under General category after a week or so.
4. Wait for CIC office to request for Medical.
5. Submit/Upload the Upfront Medical received in 2nd step.

And my program start date is 1st September, what date do you suggest that I should submit application?

I cannot apply for SDS because I don't have IELTS score with me. But I do have a TOEFL score.

Is TOEFL enough for the General Study Permit process?

I know it's a lot of queries for one post, but I thank you for your patience.

CIC says you need to submit at least 3 months in advance, so you can submit now itself. You don't need to wait for 1 week before submitting the visa application, since you will be submitting on request only.

Doing an upfront test means you are not waiting for CIC notification for medical test, and you are not losing time in between the process.

Hi,

I submitted my online application for Canada student permit SDS for this fall 2019. After submission I realized that I haven’t added my upfront medical sheet along with it.

Can you guide me on what I could do? Is there anyway that I can attach the document? I saw a webform to add additional documents. Will that be acceptable?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

I completed upfront too. But since there was no option to upload medical documents, I waited for medical request. Then submitted it via webform

So I added my eMedical acknowledgement in the Client Information section and my Visa was approved.
