How long after receiving the correspondence letter for biometrics, do you receive an answer?

Hello everyone
I'm writting on this forum because I've been reading your comments about TRV process and I want to share my experience.
I applied for TRV on July 3/2019 on paper directly in VFS Global in Bogotá, Colombia. I went to Canada in 2012 but my visa expired that year however I was able to apply for TRV in CAN+ Programme so I did not have to present financial support.

My time line was like this:

- July 3 : Applied on paper in VFS Global - Bogotá / VAC
- July 4: VFS sent my application to IRCC
- July 10: Received an email from IRCC with the Biometrics Correspondence Letter (13:50 hrs)
- July 10: Linked my paper application to my online account and saw the Application Status: We are processing your application and we are processing your background check. (15:00 hrs)
-July 11 (today): Updated status in my online account. (14;00 hrs)
Final decisión: Your application was approved!.
Then I received a message from VFS that my Passport is ready for collection.

I'm very surprised that this process only took 9 days, but I guess its because CAN+ Programme

I hope this information is useful for someone. As many people have said in the fórums, after receiving biometrics letter, the final decisión is very close. I could verify it!

I recieved biometric letter on 11 june but i thought within 2 days i get decision but its not happen am still waiting for the decision

I have submitted my online TRV application in VFS Dubai on 9th July 2019 and linked CIC account. It shows Submitted on 9th July 2019.

However, I gave the Biometrics the same date of submission but it is showing blank! Is this normal ? when they will update the bio metrics and what is the next stage ? eligibility ?

I have given my Biometrics the same day I submitted the application in VFS Dubai (9th July 2019) but have not received any correspondence letter. Can anyone advise please ?

Hy guys, i will post here information about my IEC process:
Application started: 10th of june
Sent all document: 19th of june
Biometrics collection received: 20th of june
Biometrics done: 24th of june
Correspondence biometrics letter: 16th of june
Visa accepted (Poe letter): 16th of june ( 1 hour later than correspondence biometrics)
i'm from italy
i hope that it could be helpful for someone

A letter that states your biometrics validity from the visa office...

1st. I applied on 14th of July for me my wife and 2 kids 3 year and 6 month .
2nd. I got Submission confirmation on 14th July 2019
3rd. I got biometrics request on 15th July
4th same day I got requested for my wife biometrics also
4th I submit my biometrics on 16th July and I didn’t get any email but in portal it is updated with date of expiry on 15th July 2029
5th my wife submit the same on 18th and same day her application information is updated with expiry date of biometrics but we did not received any latter for biometrics correspondence .


And one important thing I came under CAN+ because I have just traveled to New York last month and I want to take my family on trip to Canda then USA after that we will have no time for long because kids schooling will get start


There is no update after that what will be the next do my kids also have to give biometrics if no then what will be the next

My timeline when I re-applied via paper application after my online application was rejected

Application submitted offline (Bangalore VFS) : June 3rd
Application processing started : June 4th
Biometric Correspondence Letter: June 20th
Application Approval : June 24th (2 business days after biometrics correspondance letter)

Congratulations
I have applied on 7th June everything has been done but no reply it’s been more than 5 weeks

Your children need not to give biometrics because of their age so just keep checking the cic portal for updates and wait patiently. Kindly mail me for further info

Dear how long we will have to wait any idea as I planned this because after this trip we will not have time because my son will start his schooling and on 18th August is my wife birthday so I think we will celebrate in Canada and after that I will go USA with my family but if it got late so we will spoil our plans

But still didn’t get the decision letter it’s been more than a week after correspondence letter .

Same with me I got correspondence letter on 22nd July for me and my wife but no decision till now how long I have to wait in Can+ category after correspondence letter
