And another thing, in case someone else is in this situation: I am being sponsored by my common law spouse. She is still legally married to her ex (been separated and seeking a divorce for 3 1/2 years now). Part of the request was that she provide divorce documents. Since she is not yet divorced and her ex is refusing to sign a separation agreement we provided a letter from her attorney, some correspondence, and a copy of our declaration of common law union from my OWP application. I don't know if this is a standard request in cases like this, but we did get SA.

If your background check is still in process then your file delay is not because of IRCC officers, it is CBSA and other agencies
Call them and ask if background check is still in process because on MyCIC account it isn't reliable info
My husband just got his landing letter tonight! He received the PA DM on June 27th. His application date was Nov 13th, so 8 months so far.

I’m having an interview tomorrow but I have a problem...I need to bring my husband who is sponsoring me but he has high anxiety and he can’t come with me as we have to take a ferry to go to the office. Is there any other way like video chat in the office during the interview ?
Yes. I’ll post when the landing interview email arrives, and what date the interview is.
