January 2018, MPNP inland single applicant.

Medical passed June 2018.
Medical expired June 2019.

1st Ghost Update: June 13, 2019
2nd Ghost Update: June 25, 2019

Desperately waiting for medical extension and PPR.
My work permit and visa all expiring next week :(
If it’s any consolation, I’ve seen someone had their work permit expire and get PPR a week after. I don’t think it will matter because it will count as implied status. I just don’t know about the situation with your employer. Make sure to call CIC and ask.

You and the others Jan applicants who haven’t got updates regarding medical extension should be getting news very soon. Hoping this week you have the good news. Suddenly you check your GCKey and boom you see it’s extended. The wait is very hard, but we can see the finish line at this point.

If you check other threads on this forum today there is no sign of PPR or any other big news. I guess they were just eating timbits and taking it easy in the office today, or having a birthday party or something. I know it sounds really stupid but you never know.

This whole process doesn’t need to take 19 months. After all these months waiting and seeing so many other timelines, it’s clear to me it’s an arbitrary number, they just choose to take their time. Don’t even start with “every case is different” because yes that’s true, but there’s no way the whole batch has to suffer.
Some people have security done is days. Months and months of waiting just because of negligence. Infuriating.

i dont know what to believe anymore, when i called them today i got different answer.
My friend I would avoid calling them at this post, it’s just fuel for frustration. I’m sure you’ll get your extension/update soon, then PPR is just around the corner after that.

I understand your concerns and hear you. But many people (Dec 2017/Jan 2018, in this forum, about 30+ now, PNP) received PPR, not to mention there are many people do not use this forum.

Give them sometime, your PPR will arrive:)
