Salam everyone!
I’ve been going through everyone’s posts and what i could figure out was it takes minimum 12 months for the whole procedure but one of my husband friend wife got her spouse visa within 6 months and she lives in Pakistan aswell. Not just this there is one more couple who applied for immigration and got their visa within 6 months. I’m confused now :/

But i thought all the files go to london for Pakistanis?

My file has been transferred only after 8 months of wait in Sydney... so each case is different I would say. I guess those whose application took less than half a year are Mississauga. Lucky couples :)

Yes their cases get processed very quickly because their files are transferred to mississauga but i heard Pakistanis files get transferred to LVO. If you don’t mind me asking where are you from?

  • I was asked to send the RPRF (didn't pay at the start)
  • I also got an email that they have officially received our application
  • My wife was asked to give biometrics
  • Next day she got an email asking for medical
  • I got an email stating that I am eligible as a sponsor
What does this tell us about our stage?
I submitted the application on May 3rd 2019.
Got these emails on June 27th/28th.

There is a lot of communication in the beginning and then after medical is done....COMPLETE SILENCE. So prepare yourself for that.
We are still waiting for a response since.
