Applying TRV from Canada and getting passport stamped from outside Canada (India)

Hello everyone,

I am working currently in Ontario and have my work permit till 2019. My TRV got expired last week. Though I had applied to extend my VISA last month, the processing time is more than 2 months.

Unfortunately, I have to travel to India in August second week which I could not avoid. Should I cancel the application to extend my TRV and now request for a new visa? (as the processing time for a new visitor visa is less than 13 days within Canada).

In this case, if I apply for a new Visa within Canada, and get an approval during my trip to India, can I get my passport stamped from India (in case if CIC doesn't respond before I leave to India)?

Hi, I am an Indian citizen working in Canada. Applied for trv and it's been 2 months and no response from them. I have to travel sri lanka for some emergency purpose. is there any possibility to stamp my trv in Sri lanka once I receive passport request while I am in Sri Lanka. Please suggest us depending on your case.
