I hope we get it soon. I'm AOR Nov 22. From the last time I called IRCC, it seemed like no one has picked up my file since January! I hope to get an update this week or next week.
Well my background started on 16th may and within two weeks criminality passed ... I had review required on eligibility which was as removed... but last time when i called the agent said waiting for final review... I think it is a review required again but I am not sure...

Well good for you. AT least it seems like they are working on your file. Mine has not even started the background check yet. It gets really frustrating and we cannot do anything but to only wait. Hoping and praying we get our PPR this month!

Maybe they didn’t update ... Some people are still waiting after eligibility and criminality have been cleared... All we can do is try to patient and wait ... No other option

The main reason behind these delays is that in time period of July 2018 to Jan 2019, Firstly they decreased the time to apply after ITA from 90 days to 60 days which rushed the number of applicants ... To make it worse, in that time only, they have increased ITAs from 7000 invitations to about 12000 (they started giving 3900 thrice a month) which did put on more pressure on the Visa processing officers... All this ended in Feb when they decreased it to 3350 ITA’s twice a month, making it only 6700 a month ... Therefore, it will take two to three more months to clear that mess and bring the things back to normal ... We all will be cleared in 2-3 months ...

Good information. Would it be safe to say that we'll have to wait max until August (for remaining Nov AOR)?

September maximum if we are not under security screening... But they will clear .... The same happened in AINP in 2014 also which took them a year to bring everything back to normal ...

I hope you're correct as I would not want to repeat medicals. It's an additional expense for us if that happens. Let's stay positive and believe that our PPR is coming soon. Thanks again for your info. It somehow made me to look forward to something good happening to us before or by September.

Guys whatever I am writing is as per my personal experience with IRCC.
web form escalation is a myth, it won’t solve your problem as you will get the generic reply only. In my case also when I raised webform on 13th May , I got a same generic reply. In fact requesting the agent to escalate the case also did not help me at all as I did not get any confirmation email on the same apart from a verbal confirmation from the agent that ‘Yes I have escalated your case’. After this I have re-escalated my case via web forms 2 more times but all in vain due to the generic reply from ‘donotreply’ email I’d of ircc which is a generic system generated email.
However when I reescalated the same on 20th June over the call, the VERY VERY VERY amazing agent did actually escalated it this time as I got a reply from Ottawa centre from one of the officers (probably the one handling my case) from his official id that the case is pending for review by officer. Also the email had a trail mail where the agent wrote clearly to the officer that “Applicant escalated the case and the due date is passed”.
If on 13th May, the case was really escalated by the previous agent then the similar kind of email should have arrived but it didn’t.
So on 21st June I got this email from the officer and on 26th June I got my first and the only ghost update. on 27th morning 3 AM I got the RFV email.
Moral of the story: web form is a 100 useless mode of escalation. And agent also put a typical remark which is of no use till the time he/she specifically writes to officer about our case and you get a reply (not from the generic I’d).
Again highliting that this is my personal experience as per my case.
I can feel the frustration as I was a part of this TILL 27th June . Hence ready to suggest or help if I can. Ping me personally for more info if required

Hey,

I got ITA on 17th nov 2018 and MEDS passed on 20 th dec 2018 after that no update has been made from IRCC UPTILL .....plz suggest something to escalate my case as its been nearly 8 months and no update has been made yet
