I just had my interview today in Etobicoke.
I arrived at 10 AM, my interview schedule was 11 AM.
I got the queue number, waited till 11.30 and my number was called.
My advice is just come sooner, they do first come first serve.
The interview didn’t seem like interview, more like questioning and answering and also it was done in the counter.
The interview took 5 minutes and the lady said congratulations now I am permanent resident.
She gave me COPR and explained some things like SIN, OHIP, and citizenship/PR renewal process.

Just beside the CIC there is Service Canada then I proceed changing my SIN to permanent one (starts with 5, not 9).
The guy also said congrats on my PR.
There were not so many people there.
Waited for 15 minutes then my name called, proceed 5 minutes then finished!
Tomorrow I will go to Service Ontario to process my OHIP.

Wish everyone luck!
Thank you so much for everyone in this forum

Hi, Congratulations on becoming PR.
Just out of curiosity, may I ask what sort of questions do they ask???
Thank you :)
Questions to me:
Have you convicted any criminal?
Have you been deported in any country?
Do you have any other dependant?

Questions (or more like confirming) to my sponsor (spouse):
Do you understand that you will be responsible for the sponsored person financially?

That's all ^^

Did you take your visit visa paper in with you? They punch a hole in it?

You are a permanent resident now so the visitor visa is no longer effective.
My tourist visa is in my passport no they didn’t punch a hole in it, they took the passport but that’s it.
