I have been following this forum from the few days and felt helpful and satisfactory. People for showering the positivity and making the applicants confident on their result.
Coming to my case,
I just checked out my GC Key today.
The status changes to reviewing your application whether you met the eligibility requirements
Medicals passed yesterday i.e. July 3rd (But updated today). However, I did not receive any notification to my email. They just updated in GC Key.
What about you? Any changes noticed in GC?
Btw my timeline
Medicals upfront: June 13th
Applied on 15th online SDS
Biometrics letter: 16th
Biometrics given: 19th
Medicals passed & Status changed to reviewing your eligibility yesterday (July 3rd)
Can anyone tell me when can i expect the final decision?

I just received my Original Passport Request today at 9:50 EST.
I applied under SDS - online from Vietnam (remember to answer Yes to the "Upfront medical exam" in the Questionaire, it will provide the SDS document checklist instead of the general stream one).
My timeline:

• Submission Confirmation June 6, 2019
• Biometrics Collection Letter June 7, 2019
• Date of Biometrics Enrolment June 10, 2019
• Correspondence Letter July 4, 2019
• Original Passport Request July 4, 2019

During the time, only medical status was updated ("June 19, 2019, You passed the medical exam."), and it keeps showing that: "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information".
Thank you all of you for sharing your experience, it was really helpful for me. FYI, I came to realize that it will take longer than 20 days (standard SDS processing time) for positive cases, so be patient and waiting for good news.

Hi, when you applying online, after creating your account, you have to start your application by clicking "Applying come to Canada". After that, you must answer a series of questions, which is the Questionnaire I mentioned before. And you have to reply Yes to the question " Did you take the upfront medical exam.... ?" in order to eligible for the SDS category. My medicals r already cleared..... I think my agent while filing for visa completed those steps and uploaded medical result.... Thank u so much for ur reply... I hope according to ur view as my waiting time after biometrics has exceeded 20 days I will surely get positive response ...thank u again

Just to mention If your application doesn’t meet the eligibility for the Student Direct Stream, it will be processed as a regular study permit. You won’t get faster processing if this happens.

So make sure to answer questionnaire correctly which will show the option to upload supporting documents like
