Depends on where you are from but if it a country that requires a visa it is a TRV. I would look up the cost of childcare and make sure you can handle the expense of having a child in Canada. You may have more problems finding housing and your housing costs will increase. You will likely not be able to work with a baby and most of what you would make would go to childcare. Encourage you to look at cost of diapers and other bBy items.

I am from Ghana and yes, a visa is required.I already have accommodation and living with her won’t be an issue.I would certainly look at the cost of baby items and childcare.I do have support though from her dad and his family, from my family and from the two friends we will be living with.As for being able to work she already has someone who will be a nanny.

You’ll have to check with your landlord whether you can have another person (baby) living in your rental. Doesn’t sound like the father is in Canada maybe you meant help financially. If the nanny is an international student each hour they watch the baby goes towards their 20hours/week. This is important for PGWP. If you are discovered to have worked more than 20 hours per week you can have your PGWP denied. Not everyone is caught but some do. Depending where you are going to school childcare for a baby during the day can go to more than $2000/month. At the minimum you are looking at at least over a thousand per month. If you need childcare on the weekend and evenings most of what you earn goes straight back to the nanny.

She is asking for the necessary documents for the visa application not advice on how to survive in Canada with the baby.
