When calling the cic, how can you bypass or get through to the cic from outside Canada?

(I can’t seem to find the old post about how to call the CIC from outside Canada)

They will ask for your payment receipt number along with your personal details to give you update on your file

It does not hurt to call them, you could mention to the agent the same question you asked here and see what they tell you. Don't forget that everything is recorded, just be nice and try to get an answer from them, you could ask them is there anything else that is required by me? What could be a reason why my application is not moving very fast when others already have BR and MD done.... ask ask ask;) and who knows this could be what you need to get your file going again... officers probably listen to recordings. good luck...
I wouldn't mention anything about what other applicant's timelines vs yours. They will basically call you a liar and say it's just hearsay. If you get a good agent they will be helping if not they will tell you there is no specific time line for each thing.

Is it weird that I haven't a BR yet? There's not a lot on that spreadsheet without it. Medical good, file been in ON since 5/2. I didn't know if there was any situation where Biometrics weren't needed?

From the January '19 pool some people got biometrics almost straight away and then heard nothing for ages before eventually getting PPR. Some of us (like me) didn't get biometrics request for ages, but then got PPR a week after it was completed. It might suggest that when you do get biometrics, the application is close to a decision being made.

Only inland applicants are exempt from biometrics at this time, but it's not uncommon for requests to come at any point throughout the process.

Hi guys, the status on my ECAS says medical results have been received. I have read on other forums that it means I have passed the exam.Does it mean I passed? Or do I have to wait and for how long approximately?

Response will be appreciated.

My husband (applicant) on ECAS only said medical received and it never did say it was passed. We called into CIC asking another question and happen to ask if he passed his medical. They said he did and it just was not updated on ECAS, and that took about 53 days after. They said there's usually no issues with medical exams, unless you honestly have a debilitating disease.

Hello Guys! I’ve recently found this forum and it’s great to see how you guys help each other by answering the doubts.

Here’s my timeline!
||PA : India||

File Received- April 25
AOR 1- June 8
Biometrics request - June 14
Status on ECAS (SA changed to DM)-June 15
SA email- June 17
Medical request- June 17
Medical given - June 19
Biometrics given - June 20
Medical results received on ECAS - June 22

Is there someone with a similar timeline? I would like to know if their file is transferred as we have a representative and I can’t link my application to the GC KEY account and the last update on ECAS was

medical results were received
