No bro what I mean is that after people get medical request they do their exam right. But after couple of days cic will request for more testes

Sry, I misunderstood.. Depending on the medical results uploaded by the doctors, CIO officers may ask for few more tests( depending on the existing medical conditions of the applicant, Country of birth, recent travel history ) etc.. Basically, additional tests are not part of general medical checkup, but depending on multiple factors, they ask few more extra tests.

I feel for all Jan applicants who like me haven’t got PPR yet. I’ve felt depressed, upset, many negative feelings. But I try to bring myself back up. We have all gone through a lot and deserve our chance to be happy. It will come soon, all we can do is be hopeful and stronger.

I am also one of the jan applicants . Tired of this! So sad that many of us still waiting and pushing each day hoping for an update!!

I really do hope that we get some good news soon ... I am a jan applicant myself.. i had followed the thread since August 2017 applicants.. always got hope when a batch of month got ppr.. And then suddenly when December and January applicants had their turn.. they started giving ppr to march.. april.. then may.. then even june July.. my cousins who came with me are pr.. my friends who studied with me are already pr i am the only one left.. seeing applicants get ppr who were after us made me really angry.. but it's not their mistake.. It's good that people get freedom from this process as soon as possible.. But i really hope we too get some good news..i personally feel kinda low for we have been ignored.. Missed out on better job opportunities missed out on life for the past two years only for this process.. Now two ghost updates.. nothing after that.. every January applicant has security passed.. we have passed all the checks really.. i just cannot understand how can they take so long to process a simple medical? Anyways.. i hope they understand our situation and do work for us

I totally get you!! I am also one of the jan applicants. Waiting is tiring and exhausting. Wish if they could work on it and sort this out as!!

I called cic today , they said , my application is approved and decision has made , wait for email for further action . Jan 29 , 2018, got 3 GU, medical extended on June 25 , 2019.

Hi,

I had the similar status. Medicals went from 'Passed' to 'Do not require'. Later in couple of weeks it came back to 'Passed'. Looks like has been extended. Does this extension means anything from the PPR front? My application is with Sydney, NS - CIO for the past 8 months. Please shed some light if you're aware of such situations.

Hopefully it’s extended and if everything passed you can get golden email any day

May 2018 , pre-arrival 25 Aug 2018 , 1 GU 6 June 2019, 2 GU 19 June , 2 GU 25 June . Medical extended 25 June 2019, I called today and agent told me all good to go , your Application is approved

To all people whose everythings passed and just waiting for medical extention for more than two weeks. I found out something new. Yesterday I called the agent was so nice. She told me ur medical extention request was sent on 5th June and as no one extended it in 20 days so they had to send a reminder to the office again. Is anybody else in same situation? Did you make sure if its not extended in 20 days they sent another email to ottawa medical management office.

And also another thing if your medical extention is taking long time? Did you leave the country to travel? Do you think that could be connected? I went to India and USA after my medicals last year.
