Same here leolea, June is at its end and no news. I really thought this would be the month we would get our PPR. May July be the end of our journey.

Medicals are expired and had GU 3 weeks ago.

It seems like we are the three. I have an exact timeline as you guys.

Jun 07 2019 - Ghost Update

now... 3 weeks passed
nothing.

after GU, many people got ppr within 3 weeks.
I have nothing.

I no dot need to extend my medical that still oaky in July.
CIC... so stupid. poor system.

Hello Leola,

Did you by chance give them a call to find out what the 3 ghost update is about?
It is super annoying that Jan/Dec had to wait this long. I called them yesterday and it's the same old story "Your security is not started yet". My medical expired on the 8th of June and they just requested for extension on the 18th of June. My dependent (husband) is not in the country as we have assumed we will get our PPR latest by April and we will be together but here I am in June still waiting. Very painful

I just don’t see the point of calling anymore. If I’m lucky to not get disconnected and then get through an agent after waiting 20-30 minutes, it’s usually the same story, they say what we already know from our online accounts, then “kindly” remind us that our application is under the processing time of 19 months. Then each call is different, someone says your security is passed, someone says it’s not started yet. I just don’t know which information I can trust anymore. And if you ask about what’s wrong with your application while hundreds of other applications after yours have been approved they simply say you have to wait.

I’m only gonna call them again if my application goes past the 19 month, God forbid. And even so it makes me scared because who is it to say they are not gonna act the same way?

Patiently waiting with my 3 dependants in Vancouver
For sure it is a long journey and at times very frustrating, hopefully all of us reach our goals
Sure some will miss golden opportunities such as a new job offer, buying a property and many more
Always believe that there is something better, our Lord will send for us when the right time arrives
Take care and wishing all the best to all of us

Here is my timeline
App send - Jan 8, 2018
AOR - Feb 15, 2018
MR - July 3, 2018
RPRF Req - Julay 4, 2018
MP - July 14, 2018
Pre arrival letter - August 2, 2018
Got married - Jan 27, 2019
Add on request - March 1, 2019
Added documents and application forms through web form - March 15, 2019
PPR - June 26, 2018

I added all the application forms of mine and my spouse through web form on March 15, 2019. After that i was trying to make sure that my spose is added to my PR application. I told them why i do not see my spouse name on MyCIC. They were saying that the officer is reviewing your spouse's file. While i got PPR, i asked them that it applies to my wife as well. At that time they said that your wife is not officially added to your PR application. Now they cancelled my PPR request. Does anyone know how long would it take to process this kind of application?

congrats bud on your PPR, with your wife i think you have to do another application for her as yiu added her almost a year after you file your application, i dont think it would take a year for her to get everything done, i could be wrong though anyway congrats again on your PPR
