Hi All,
I have 2 questions.
1. I am currently working in an IT company in Canada and having work permit . If i want to switch to another company do i need open work permit or any ? Or with the current work permit i can switch and my new employer will take care of it ?

2. Equally, i want to apply an open work permit for my wife. Anyone can help me how to go with this ?

Thanks

As you haven't actually said what work permit you hold, no one can answer.

You can't get an OWP. If you want a new work permit, you need a job offer with an LMIA.

If your job is skilled, your wife can apply for an OWP.
That helps.. So in order to change the company , first i need to have an offer from the next company then i can apply a new work permit for the new job. Is that right ?

No - you need a job offer from the new company and also an approved LMIA from your new company before you can apply for the new work permit.
