Can I start a business?

Hi everyone,

I recently got an open work permit which means I can work for any employer I want. I already have a full-time job and I would like to start a business, however, I am not sure if open work permit holders are allowed to start their own business. People who have had experience in this area are requested to post their two cents!

OP has open work permit. So he can start a business or he need a closed work permit?

Well based on research it shows cannot without open or closed just because the permit expires and then you have to leave the country since you have no status unless you really. just just what i see i have no actual experience in this so i actually dont know.
