I graduated last year with a first class degree in Agriculture crop science major. Due to my excellent results, I was selected among the best students to apply for a scholarship position which I did and got the scholarship offer. The course duration was 2 years and my tution and all other living expenses were to be fully paid by the University in Canada.

Funds available were $39 000 CAD (provided by school) plus $4000 US ( for air ticket to be provided by us). Since my parents are retired and old, I had to use my sisters bank statement for the air ticket. In her account was $4000us

Since I was a fresh graduate, the only employment experience I had was being an intern at biotechnology company and boquotes enterprise farm
Farm. I don't have any relatives in Canada, I'm single (24 years old).

documents included in my application included :
#study permit for
#family form
#letter of acceptance
#proof of funding from school
#proof of funding from my sister
#medical infomation sheet
#police clearance sheet
#2 pssport size photos
#parents national ID
#education documents

However I got refused on the following grounds:
I'm not satisfied you will leave Canada as stipulated by subsection 216 base on
1) limited employment prospects in your country
2) current employment situation
3) personal assets and financial status

Kindly help on what it means especially reason number 1 and 2 and how best I can correct this. Thank you in advance.

That's unfortunate. It's the most important part of a student visa aside from the acceptance letter.
Thanks very much. I think it contributed much to my refusal. I will includd it when I reapply. What are other things I add to have my student permit accepted

I reapplied and got the study permit aproved. Please remember to pray always and with God all is possible.

Ezekiel 37:3. Even with a dry application, God can attach tendons and flesh to make it strong in front of the VO. Remember he is a miracle God. Only your prayers and commitment to God will count. God is great - all the time!

Thank you all for the advise you gave me during my reapplication process. May God bless you!
