Hello Everybody, just wanted to write this to keep a reference for people who might get desperate about their application. I am CEC applicant (jan 2nd 2019) and I just called a cic agent and told me that my app got APPROVED!! I was under review required for my Canadian employment and my score dropped!! I was shocked when i saw this on my notes received 8th of may (ordered 8th april). I asked the cic at that time an agent told me that they think your NOC was wrong. I was confident my noc was right but maybe the job description was vague! I was advised by a well known consultant that my app will be rejected for sure and i need to withdraw my application!! I was seriously devastated!!! I didn't listen to him instead I sent a new employment letter to better clarify my job duties, they received it on may 24th and my application got approved on may 28th!!!! I doubt they even saw the new letter. so now I am waiting for a landing interview in Etiobocke office! I am just writing this to let you all know that consultants are seriously bul**** and if you think you made a mistake go ahead and fix it, don't assume your app will be for sure rejected and don't withdraw it!!! thanks a lot! <3

That's great! Happy to read such a post.

Your case only highlights how the lack of transparency is the biggest weakness of the program. People need to order GCMs and wait for a month to know what's going on.. Really something needs to be done about it.

You see being an outcast implies you have been cast out, that at some point you belonged to a society and were later removed from it. I think we need a more inclusive name with a sense a community to it. Anyway, I'm peacing out for tonight...going to get my Friday drink on to stay sane.

Hi guys,

I went to collect my passports and CoPR from my consultant today. And I got to know something not very exciting. I’ve got a medical surveillance form (Condition 2.02), asking me to contact a health physician within thirty days of landing.

Anyone having any insights, please tell what is it?

God knows when this medical thing is going to get off my back.

It could just be an x-ray and be on your way kind of thing. It's understandable that Canada is taking a preventive stance with your healthcare. Remember they've already approved your PR status; when you land you will become a PR and, therefore, eligible to use healthcare services in Canada. They likely want to make sure the medicals thus far haven't missed something. I wouldn't really stress.

Do you think it would be valid to email a MP as I am worried about missing the deadline for medical residency if my PR takes too long? Already passed the 6-month mark and my criminality/security havent started.

Hi everyone,

I had submitted ADR in feb 2019, the status was: we are reviewing the additional documents that you had provided. Today when I logged into my account, there was an update saying that my profile has been updated. And the status on the section for additional document, changed to not applicable. I logged out and when I logged in again the status of my PR application changed bck to submitted. Can I hope for my PR in coming week, my application is 22 days away from its deadline.

Hi Everyone,
So I just got off the phone with IRCC and my experience with the agent was very nice. He was polite and gave me all the information.

So as of now, they do not need anything from our side. My 6 months have been completed yesterday. And he mentioned that my case is being processed at CPC- Ottawa.

I confirmed that my background check has not even started. I asked them to send a reminder to the case officer but the agent mentioned, it cannot be done at the moment.

So I guess now it's all about testing patience.
