June 2019 citizenship applicants

Hi. I am helping my wife fill in the documents. We should be sending everything this month. I was going to try to do this today but my printer has no ink lol. So I ordered a cartrdge and should be here by friday. I do have a question though. As ID she only has her passport from Mexico and her PR card. It says the PR card is not good for that, should her passport from Mexico be good or does she have to get a Province ID card as she doesnt have her drivers licence yet. Hope somoene knows.

If her Mexican passport is her travel document - it will not work. If you have another Mexican Id - you need to submit this one as an Id but with the official translation/notarized and etc. I would recommend getting a Province ID card or, depending on your province, the health card might have her photo on and can be used instead.

She definitely needs a 2nd I'd card, could be Drihing licensed or prov ID card or health card.

Although it is not specified on the website that it has to be a photo ID. My wife's provincial ID will expire at the end of the month, so we also submitted the provincial health card (as 2nd id together with passport and provincial ID, just in case), which doesn't have photo. If something goes wrong I let you guys know.

I don’t know if that’s possible- can you contact Canada Post or the courier you used and request to retire the parcel back to you?
