Yeah, it's compulsory that you show your full year tuition fee and your full year expenses. If someone is accompanying you, than you will have to show way more than normal people's.

If your program is of two or more years than you will have to show according to that. So that VO wont reject you just because of funds.

10K has to be shown for living expenses of first year + 1 semester fee has to be paid upfront. Also, you have to show that you have a source of funds, or sponsorship to pay your entire tuition.

Yes, all institutions will require you to pay one semester's fees at the minimum. If you don't get the visa, you will get the money back, minus an administration fee. Also, your application can be deffered by the institution.
