Hi @legalfalcon
First, I want to thank you for your kind help to every one

I have noticed in my GCMS notes that my eligibility is MET
Please note that they send me an ADR for parental travel authorization from February which I was unable to send it and instead, I send for them a LOE where I explained further my custody court judgement which allows me to travel with my daughter
So please Could you clarify for me if my LOE has been approved?? because my eligibility is MET
Is that ADR related to my eligibility

Thanks very much for your clarification

Was the ADR sent after the eligibility was met, if it was, then you may have met the eligibility, but IRCC has to make sure that your child can legally enter Canada. Only after this will your security start.

@legalfalcon Hi!..
My babkground check status changed back to "Not Applicable" instead of ip2 from ip1.
can you please tell me why it is happened?
is there any problem with my application?
my aor is 25 dec 2018
ip1 07/02/2019
not applicable on 23/05/2019
still on not applicable.
The MyCIC account status will change multiple times, it is difficult to pin point what is happening in your file just by looking at MyCIC status.

The so called IP1 and IP2 is just based on assumptions. Some people swear by IP1 etc, and others never see IP2 and get PPR.

All application go through the following stages:

R10
Criminality
Medicals
Eligibility
Security

Thanks for your prompt response. I do not have any idea about eligibility if it finally got cleared or not. I have not been calling CIC because my MP office have been calling every month. So when i received an update after 14 months I saw my ADR changed from we are reviewing the additional documents you submitted to Not applicable. The very next day my MP office called me and asked if I had an update in my account I said yes so they told me that my medical auto renewal request has been made. I did not ask them if they checked about eligibility. I was of the opinion so long that when extension req is made eligibility must have cleared. Is it right?? But what does NA mean on the ADR @legalfalcon . Appreciate your feedback.
See my post right above this/

Hi @legalfalcon

I have a monster ADR

1. Salary pay stubs AND bank salary deposit covering all years I've been with employer 1 (been there for almost seven years. Plus what the hell is a bank salary deposit? I only have paystubs and checking account statement pages highlighting the deposit)
2. Contact information for my director (my direct supervisor already gave their info?)
3. Tax info AND w2 (obtained transcripts from the IRS to corrobate the w2 )
4. Other stuff I've submitted before, like my old passport scan
IRCC can ask for any documents they want and you have to comply with it.

1. The bank salary deposit is the proof that the sale was submitted to you account. So the salary stubs should correspond to the entries in your bank account.

2. Provide it again, and if it is updated, then give the updated one.

4. just send it again.

Do it asap and you can mention that these were already provided.

The above-mentioned situation is not applied on me:
R10 - don't know, agent said what's that
Criminality- not started
Medicals- passed
Eligibility - not started
Security - not started
VO-Montreal
What you think about my case?
Thank you, really appreciate your time and effort in helping me out with my case.

Hi @legalfalcon
No the ADR was sent in the 4th of February 2019 and the Eligibility was met in the last week of April 2019
Does this means that the ADR is approved (in which instead I sent a LOE as i was unable to get the authorization so I explained further my custody in relation to the laws of my country )
Does the eligibility includes my Child custody?
I’m really confused
Please help me to clarify this issue ?
By the way my security didn’t start until now

Thanks a lot for your help

@legalfalcon

I’m planning to apply for BOWP. Currently, I live and work in Ontario based company. Recently, I got a job offer from a Quebec based company for a remote job. Do I still qualify for a BOWP?

N.B: company is based in Quebec. I’m resident in Ontario and will be working (if I accept the offer) from home

Thanks for your reply.
But it is strange that BG status turned to not applicable.
I have not known people whose BG status changed to "not applicable" after "your application is in progress"
That's why I asked to you

418 days in. No actual updates on the file since May/2017. In January I tried multiple channels of communication to see if I could get some kind of response (email, phone, local MP). I was told that the file is "on queue to be reviewed by an officer". A couple of months later I called again, and the agent seemed to be upset that I was contacting them so frequently and told me "that there's nothing for me to do but wait." In the meantime, I finished college, and since there's no PR in sight, I had to apply for PGWP for myself and OWP extension for my wife. Another 500+ dollars down the drain. So now I have two files to be processed, IRCC doesn't give two sh*ts about us, and I'm on the verge of a breakdown. Just wanted to share my experience so far with this whole process.

Hi I understand your frustration, you said you've applied in May 2017 which makes it 2 years since you've applied but you are stating 400 odd days. How's it possible?

Hi @legalfalcon .

I currently hold a Canadian visitor permit visa and wish to apply for Express Entry.
However, I have an arrest on my record in the US and was given a "Careless Driving" ticket (traffic offense, not criminal) with a fine.
There was no alcohol or substance involved and this is a single isolated incident on my record.

This is 2017 ORS 811.135 Careless driving (link below).
https://www.oregonlaws.org/ors/811.135

Due to this, will I be denied entry to Canada?
Does it make me ineligible for a permanent residency program like Express Entry?

This is not even classified as a misdemeanor, but just as a class-B traffic violation ticket (fine-only offense).
Is this worse than a speeding ticket?
Will I be inadmissible and need criminal rehabilitation?

Hi @legalfalcon
Just received an ADR (IMM5406). We had submitted family information (info about both sides of parents) in the regular application, so why did we get this ADR?

Thanks

HI @legalfalcon

I am a single applicant under FSW.

1) Suppose I have CAD 19000 in my account, while the requirement is CAD 12669, Can I write any amount more than CAD 12669 under "how much money in canadian dollars would you bring to Canada?" question? or should I stick to amount that I actually have in my account? Does it matter if I answer say 16000 or 15000 for this question even though am showing Proof of 19000?

2) I have not decided on the province and city that I want to settle in, can I just select any province or city while I submit my PR application? Coz as far as I know, express entry immigrants can settle in any province/city of Canada.

Hi @legalfalcon

My background started recently.

I applied from US after that I moved to INDIA. I raised a CSE to notify them.

My application is currently getting processed at Montreal, will my application will be moved to NDVO at final stages or I can expect the PPR from Montreal office only.
