We applied first week of January. They sent aor, med request, police clearance, and SA at the end of Feb. Transferred to MVO mid March. April 12 biometric email. Around the same day the AOM in was requested in GCKey. Biometric completed April 16. Police clearance and AOM submitted April 20 I think. End of April she got the Pre Arrival email. Nothing since.
Wow yours is moving really fast. I don't even have pre arrival email yet. I don't have access to gckey as we have rep which unfortunately don't update us but instead told us to JUST WAIT. Lol.

Yes it's the normal process. It will either stay in Mississauga, or it will get transferred. If your case is easy and nothing out of the ordinary, it seems to be a 50% chance of staying in Mississauga or getting transferred to Manila. If there is anything that makes it more complex, like the PA worked abroad somewhere such that a police check is required for that country or anything else, it always gets transferred to Manila. In my wife's case, she worked in the middle East previously, so they transferred to Manila and asked for a police check from that country. They also asked for an AOM (Advisory of Marriage) from PSA even though we submitted the original PSA issued Marriage Certificate.
Did you receive another email when they received the file in Manila?

Aww well hopefully you will hear something soon. Based on last year's applicants that actually updated the spreadsheet, the average time for MVO to send a passport request is around 250 days from date of arrival in Sydney. That's 8 months. Again that's average so I think it will take that long for us too. So still 2-3 months of waiting. I was hoping she would be here during the summer so we could travel a bit in Canada while the weather is nice, but it probably won't happen.
Are you sure you don't have access to GCKey if you have a representative? I seems weird that you don't but maybe it's normal? Your rep won't send you a screen shot of what he sees in GCKey??

No they did not send an e-mail or any message when it arrived in Manila. That would have been AOR2 had they sent any sort of message. But, 4 days after it got transferred, on GCKey, it shows the application as "submitted" and, on Ecas, it says "We started processing your application on March 19", four days after it was transferred.

May I ask what does your biometrics say from GCKey? Because for my husband it says "we do not need your finger prints etc..." but his bio info is on top right from gckey.

It says the same as your husband's. The biometric info is there but at the bottom still says "we do not need...etc". Other people said that theirs changed to "completed". So in our case I guess it could mean that either marking it as completed is not important for our case officers, or, our results have been posted but not yet reviewed by our case officers. I don't know which is true. Probably the results haven't been reviewed yet unfortunately.

Yeah I've heard about that too. Well im not complaining lol though, if I were to choose I wanted to be there during summer coz I have a little boy with me (2yrs old) so we can both get ready for the winter.

Yes that's what she's telling us. She can't link our application and never receive any screenshot or whatsoever. I've been asking for a detailed update whether the BGC has started already or what but she can't give me any information, it actually defeat the purpose of having a Representative. Next time I would not recommend having a representative and would never recommend her. Sorry but she actually thought I'm too damn and naive thanks to this forum! :D

Do you have your UCI number and Application number? Maybe you can try to use GCKey? Maybe it will work, or maybe it will tell you your file is already linked to another account (your representative's). It can't hurt to try. If it doesn't work, then I would insist that your representative show you a screen shot of what she sees on GCKey. She can even take a picture with her phone and text it to you. At least you will be able to see for yourself if there are any updates or messages or document requests or something. After all, you are paying her so she should be able to do that much for you.

Well, I wish you lots of luck and hopefully we all will have good news soon!

I tried linking it the moment I knew about her not being able to link it herself but it didn't work so I just stop trying :( I've ask for it (screenshot/update) several times and all I got was "YOU HAVE TO WAIT" as if we did not pay for her service! and my partner don't want to make it a big issue for a reason that it might affect our application or he's afraid that she will mess up with our application if incase additional documents will be required. So I just chill, read comments and check the other online tool from time to time.

Yeah good luck to us and praying for a positive results for everyone. :)

Oh I see. Well it took her and I a few tries to link her UCI to GCKey. It locked the account a few times. Eventually I got it to work. I think the reason it wouldn't work was because we didn't include myself in the number of people applying for PR, so we only put 1. When I put 2 there, including myself, the sponsor, it worked. In your case it would be 3, you, your son, and your hubby.

Yup, praying everyone gets reunited with their loved ones very soon!! :)

Thanks for the tip. I will try it again today and hopefully I can link it this time. :)

Fingers crossed. Can't wait to be reunited. :)
