Hello guys,

I got a NOI yesterday. CRS is 456 and NOC is 2174.
I am considering to wait for the regular draw. I hope they do it today!

I just have a question to ask: they told me the next step is to contact them. How do I do that? And how much time do I have to reply?

You have 45 days to submit an application (contact them).
But, you are right to wait out for a direct ITA, which you're very well placed for...in the next couple of draws.
Bonne chance!

I have a question for the ones that got a NOI under the French Stream... did you put french as you first language? I've read that some people do that even though that lowers their score.

I suspect it's their own way of sorting through hundreds of applications.
But yes, it appears that you won't get an NOI for the French stream unless you list French as your first language.
I've seen testimony from people who waited for 6 months, change from English to French and get the NOI in a week.

Hi FSSWers,
I have read through this thread and feel happy to join !
I also saw Dan @DanBhanu69 who has helped me in other thread.
Greetings to you all.
I received Ontario's NOI on May 22, and am preparing for the application.

I have one question, according to the design philosophy of "Federal's system" and "Ontario's system", is the "Other activities" Section in Ontario's system acctually EQUIVALENT to "Personal History" in Federal's system?

So that in "Other activities" Section (Ontario's system) and "Personal History" Section (Federal system), we could put diplomas (without ECA) and work experience (without reference letter nor payslips) in these sections? Knowing that we DO NOT depend on these diplomas (without ECA) or these work experience (without reference letter nor payslips) to claim any points or to get any advantage.

Is this feasible?

Thanks in advance for instructions and/or comments!

Best regards,

D.

Congratulation for your nomination.

Btw, I have something to ask: In my EE profile, my current job (just started from Dec 2018) is intentionally left out because I don't want to alert my employer of my intention of moving abroad (I'm gonna tell them eventually but not right now at this early stage). My question: is it considered by OINP misinterpretation in any way ?
Thanks guys.
Hi Thebluetung,
How have you been? Hope every goes smoothly for you!
As for this question you posted earlier, I have the same concern as you did.
Therefore, what is your solution please?
Thank you in advance.

Best wishes,

D.

Hi friends,
Long time.
I saw in another thread that people have received NOIs from Ontario that may have been the French stream.
Any one lucky enough here?
FD? @thebluetung?
Hi you all,

Yes I got it, NOI in 22 May, completely unexpected.
However it didn't mentioned French stream or any specific stream.

I'm gathering documents right now.
Do you guys have any experience on doing gift deed/LOE as it is not listed in the OINP documents checklist ?
I have to get financial support from my parents.

Hi Dooneen,

I'm just starting to gather required documents.
I'm still hesitating:
- Solution 1: only show my previous job which I had my ref. letter for sure.
- Solution 2: go all out transparent and write a LOE explaining my situation of current job + contracts and pay slips.

Hello guys,

I have a quick question, after receiving NOI, it is possible to get rejection after submitting the application?
One reads that OINP is fairly lenient and would give you a chance to submit a missing document or clarify an unclear one.
But, rejections for outright falsification or ineligibility, for example, is possible.

Congrats mate! Best wishes preparing for submission and for your processing. It was indeed the French stream...OINP announced a draw.

Yes, OINP accepts gift deeds. I saw an old thread where people shared that experience.
