Thanks a lot guys. So my partner is currently in school for his undergrad. What should I put as his highest level of education? And what should I pout under the part that requests for his intended occupation? Also the number of years of education in total on form imm0008 is it the total years in Canadian institution or the total number of years I was in school from when I was young.
Is your spouse on study permit?

Total number of schooling, you can start with current education and go backwards, you can use the field of his studies as intended occupation.
Backwards up to Kindergarten? Pardon my silly question I just want to make sure I answer the question correctly.

I think you can apply for his owp with your pr application did you got your decision made on your pr application?
Hi Garry,
So this is what happened, I was told to send my passport for confirmation of PR application to be issued and asked to update my profile if there was any change of which I did update my status to CLP. So now I'm not sure if they'll still issue me my PR and process my partner's separate or if they'll put mine on hold as well. I actually sent my PP to them

I think they will issue you Pr and then they will ask you to submit your spouse pr application separate

Usually if they put your pr on hold you will have to wait till your spouse application is processed which usually take 10-12 months within canada

Hi Garry21,
I think they placed mine on hold because the update I got stated this "In order for the processing of your application to continue, the following document(s) are required:" so they might send my PP back. I'm hoping they just issue my PR and then process my partner's.

The email I got was an additional information requirement since I updated my status to common-law
I think they confirmed your status changed and now they will add your spouse file with you and proceed further with that
