Dears,

I need an advice:

I received my PR in September 2015 and it will expire in September 2020. I went to Montreal in 2015 for landing and stayed for one month and went back to my country.

If I plan to come back next November 2019 to stay for good in Canada , am I allowed to enter through the airport, or the immigration officer in airport can deny my entry and send me back on the airplane to my country, because I can’t comply with the 730 days rule during the 5 years.

Thanks

They won’t deny you entry, but there is the possibility they will report you for failing to meet residency obligation. If they do report you, that will trigger a residency review to strip you if your PR status.

Dear Bluetruck , Thank you for your reply,

Dear all ,

I have one more question/concern:

My wife has the same status as i mentioned in my previous message (PR granted in 2015 and will expire in 2020 , she spent only one month in Canada in 2015) , she is coming with me in November and she will be in her 6 months of pregnancy.

Any risk that she might be denied entry at the airport by immigration officer and sent back home because : she is pregnant and/or she can’t comply with the 730 days rule during the 5 years.

Regards

As a PR she will not be denied entry but from a health coverage viewpoint which province are you coming back to. Note same applies to her PR status she could also be reported leading to her PR status being revoked subject to appeal, having a child in Canada probably unlikely to change that.

Dear Bs65 ,

Thank you for your reply .

We are going to Montreal ( in case we didn't benefit from heath coverage i will pay the hospital bill).
please can you elaborate more about the process if we are both "reported leading to PR status being revoked subject to appeal".

Thanks for your help
