Lemme give you more clarity.

I have been waiting since Jan 30th draw and noticing before every draw, the maintenance notice is up on Tuesday. This has been a great sign for all of us whenever CIC is conducting FSW draw on Wednesday and this notice is always up before a draw happens on Wednesday.

So, this maintenance is scheduled if there is a FSW draw on Wednesday.

Hope this makes sense!
I agree. This has been a constant for us since Feb 2019.

CIC must have planned the way they've to conduct remaining draws in this year. To achieve the yearly target, we'll see constant number of ITA's issued by CIC pretty soon (hopefully, this change will be enforced from tomorrow onwards).

We won't need any back to back draws with 3900 ITA's and a regular draw conducted at 14 days interval. CRS cut-off will be back to normal stage and below 450 in next 4 draws.

I believe, thunderstorm has been passed now and the brighter side is all set to spread the positive vibes. Most importantly, we need to show some more patience here, like the way we're UNITED so far since Jan 30th draw. Trust God, everything will be changed soon :)
Not sure if you have noticed but with that 1001st post u hv now become a 'Champion' member! Congratulations on that, hope that atleast this leads to an ITA ;-)

If I become the primary applicant, we have 457 points. However I lose points on June 29th - which brings it down to 452. Now I'd be very happy with this score but WES is taking forever to respond. My husband's evaluation is due on 6th June.. But mine is stuck on reviewing documents. No update since 8th May!

My husband on the other hand, can get upto 461 points IF he gets a CLB10. However he's taken the test twice and he's super irritated. Don't know what to do - super confused..
Super irritated after 2 attempts?
IELTS is a money making gamble wer I come from. I did 13 times to achieve CLB9. May b am not that good.
But for yo’ll attempting another time shouldn’t b this frustration. Push him to do again. Anyways yo’ll have a good score. All the best.

My fiancee and I are planning to enter in Express entry pool. With alone she has 453 score. Our combined score is 446.So what is best option?? should wait at 446 or we should put her file alone??
You can’t apply as a couple as fiancée is not a relationship status as per CIC, unless you guys have lived together for at least a year (common law).
She is better off entering the pool alone with 453 as these are trying times, scores haven’t come lower than 450 since Jan.

With elections coming up in November, I don't expect either back to back draws or any draw >4000 ITA's. Reason being the backlog is already huge for IRCC.

More over half a million international students are due to complete their courses and gain extra CRS points this year.
There is only one way CRS cutoff is going and it's up. CRS of 460+ might as well become norm by the end of year.

Tell me! You doing this because you already have a study permit or what?

Maybe you are right, but be diplomatic about it man, not fair!

This is my IELTS : 9,9,7,7.5
I can never improve more than this..

Added spouse details too.
No canada experience, no masters.

So the score cannot be improved at all,
When we started last year CRS was around 441 so we started this journey..

Now after all the pain, it went to an unreachable height.

Wat do we do? Forget canada completely?
Don't lose hope. I was in the same boat as yours at 438 for 7 odd months. However, AINP gave me opportunity to apply and I didn't look back. I know nobody wants to go for PNP due to a few presumed restrictions compared to regular direct route but it's best to be in the game then just wait another year for something. If my spouse maxed her score, we could reach 444 but after waiting 7 months, it just felt like too good of an opportunity to pass. Don't surrender hope!

Yes at some point you reach a plateau. My spouse attempted it 9 times and it turns out, her first attempt was the best one out of them all. We gave up on wasting more money on IELTS and just accepted a different route to EE.
