Thanks! Has anyone heard of a case for PR apppication rejection for forgetting to mention a visit visa refusal of a country other than Canada?

Yes it happens...Especially if that other country is Australia, New Zealand, USA or UK....

6. PCC was issued on a date before the applicant’s departure date from the Country.
For example, Mr. X is a smart cookie. Resided in Germany for 9 months and left Germany on 30th October 2015. Being smart he thought to apply for the Police Clearance Certificate from Germany and received it on 28th October while departure is after 2 days !! Applied for PR in Canada and uploaded the PCC issued on 28th October, while he left Germany on 30th October while filling travel history. His smartness has not paid him and he got rejected for the reason above! Don’t try this (at home), Readers discretion advised!
For the above point mentioned, i need to know if i would need a new PCC. Here's my case :
1. Indian citizen working in USA since Apr 2016 and left to India on June 2018 (After H1B expiry).
I applied and got my Indian Police Clearance on Sep-2018 and had to leave to USA again on Dec-2018.

Now that i received an iTA and due to submit e-APR, do i have to get another Police clearance or the one i am having should work?
Any experience and expert suggestions would help.. Please advise for any alternate solutions.

I've got a rejected application due to missing police certificate. I applied again and mentioned that i applied before but didn't answer yes to the statutory question. Is that a comcern? I thought only refused application must be mentioned.

If needed raise a CSE with an LOE explaining your mistake.

Yes i will but want to make sure if this is a mistake first because there's a difference when application is rejected as incomplete and refused. What do you think?
You still didn't give us the conflicting questions so we can double check.

This is a mistake. Saying yes to those questions won't harm and affect your application in any ways. Raise a CSE and let them know that you just realized that you should have answered "Yes". They will update if it was important, they will leave as it is if it was not supposed to be there. In anyways you would like to get the records straight for audit!

Mistake or no mistake is another issue. Providing supplementary information on something doubtful will keep you in safe region. CSE explaining the matter in 5 lines would suffice.

Good luck

You still didn't give us the conflicting questions so we can double check.
The two suspicious questions are:

1. Has [name of applicant] been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?

2. Has [name of application] ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?

My old application was rejected for incompleteness during R10 check.

So you should have replied yes to both questions if it's not the case just explain it on the CSE, not the end of the world, don't worry about it.

In my opinion, you are right in your understanding, it was just cancellation of your application and not a visa rejection by any means . No need to panic, but it doesn't harm to raise CSE

Yes and i also read about a similar case on this forum where an applicant got PPR with no issues answering NO to both questions. Howeevr, conflicting opinions got me in doubt...

As for Australian PCC - traffic history is necessary ONLY if one lived in Queensland or/and Victoria

That's what CIC website says.
