Sorry, I didnt take any pictures of my application but I just organized everything in order of the checklist, I included originals together with the translated copy. I put it all together in one big fedex envelope. It didnt get sent back to us for corrections or anything. Hope that helps.

I literally followed the checklist. I used it as a kind of index to follow and then just added all photos at the back. There isnt really a prescribed way of putting the package together as long as you have everything they're asking for that's all that's required. Any additional documents that you want to include just add to the back and include an explanation if you like but I didnt include anything they didnt expressly ask for.

Did you put any type of cover letters or something like that ? Some of my documents (Work benefits, interac transactions) doesn't have any titles or anything like that. Should i put a name on the top or something like that ? This is making me confused now :eek:

I know I read you can use paper clips if you need but no staples. I also have read they like to see a cover letter, but not sure how old that post was. Wouldn’t hurt to have a cover letter in my opinion.

Def use the checklist as your guide! I’m
Still filling out forms. Good luck!

No, I didnt put any cover letters or include explanations of what the documents were. These are people that deal with these kinds of things every day. Trust me, there is a 0% chance that the documents you submit will be something totally unique and Never Before Seen.

They want to see the checklist as your cover letter - it should be the first thing they see. If you want to add any supporting letter from yourself and your spouse, add it at the back. Also, yes, paper clips are fine. No staples because it slows down the scanning process, especially with the high volume of docs received.

This is literally copied and pasted from the guide:
You must print, fill out and submit a copy of this checklist with your application. Place it at the top, as the cover of your application.

Do not use a cover letter.

Sorry, I don't understand about the barcode. Do they mean only barcode pages or the form Imm1325 & Imm008
Once you complete and validate the forms, they generate a barcode at the bottom. DO NOT SEPARATE THIS BARCODE FROM THE REST OF THE FORM. Keep each form intact. There is no separate barcode to include.

Try to keep it simple and place it in order of the checklist. Read it carefully!
Make sure you are sending the most current updated forms otherwise they will send it all back.
Double check you have signed and dated all the forms.
There is no requirement for a cover letter so not sure if that would help, maybe just make you feel better?
Use binder clips and a few paper clips to keep it all together.
Courier Fedex with a tracking number to get it there. ( don't use DHL due to past experience ).

Say some good words for your family and send it off.
Be prepared for 12 months......Good luck !
