I'm at 185 days and now I'm worried.:( I really don't get it why PNP applicants take too long when the province has already checked our applications thus giving us a nomination. Shouldn't the process for PNP applicants be quicker since it was already reviewed by the province? Sigh.

I'm getting my hopes from you @SithLord so I'll also keep hanging on!
Same also goes for inland applicants. All are pretty much well settled and yet they continue waiting for eternity.

We just need to hang on and hope some case officer shows mercy and clears us through :)

24th may 2019 was last day of my 6 month period. As the norm i called CIC - they quoted that day is still left. Call us back on Monday and we will take action against immigration department... have any one received a similar reply and do you think call centre people could do something now. BG check is left.
Call centre agents can send a remainder to the case officer requesting an update on your case. The officer has 30 days to respond. During this period, he either makes a decision or provides a reason for the delay.

Hi All,

I have applied for BOWP (Bridging Open Work Permit) on March 29th, 2019. Along with my application, I also applied for a spousal work permit for my wife who is in India. Currently, both applications show status as - "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility."
I had two queries:-
1. Where can I check the current applications CIC is working on? I feel CIC is still working on applications submitted on a much earlier date.
2. While applying for my own BOWP, I found an option to apply for my wife as well. Is it normal? Or should I be worried that CIC may reject our applications all together? My wife did receive a request to submit her biometrics from CIC immediately after we submitted the application. Biometrics has been submitted and sent on April 9th. After that we did not receive any further communication from CIC. My WP expired on 19th May 2019

And your VO is Sydney, NS right? I believe mine is at Sydney too.. :(

Let's continue to pray that they pick up our files and PPR will come for us soon!
Sydney, yes, seems all PNPs bury there! My files covering by dust since Feb. Do not know why they do not have enough manpower but load so many applications.

No updates after MEP in January
Talked to an agent a couple of days ago, she said nothing has started yet.
I finished my six months timeline today. Very frustrated now. I used to think I'll get PPR by the end of March but silly me! I got no ghost updates, no ADRs and no nothing. How much more time do they need to pick a file and take a look at it?
Now, I'm like "pick the damn thing up and get it over with!"
What's more funny is that now that the timeline has ended, I am in a limbo and have no idea when to expect what. Might as well give up...

How are you aware about 30 days TAT?

Relax there's a good chance you'll get your PR this coming week.
It can't be issued on a weekend which is the date your 180th day falls on.
So be hopeful for the coming week.

Hey, dont worry much.
Atleast you are not alone.
Aor 28th Nov. Now 1 day left.
Called them couple of days ago, said same thing. File untouched.
There are a few more unlucky people like us, whose file is untouched post mep.
Whereas some lucky people of the same Aor who have also got copr by now and some extremely lucky people whose Aor falls in 2019 and has ppr.

Just that our starts are not shinning bright.
I am stuck in India and my husband has already moved to Canada due to his studies.

There are many more in worse situations who are waiting for over 8 months now!
If they can survive it, we too can..

Fingers, legs, hands, crossed for this weeks draw!!!
