I don't understand why people flagpole when they have an easy choice available to do inland appointments. The administrative refusal goes into the record and may be problematic for your future US travels, esp given the animosity the current US administration has shown towards immigration. Is it really worth it to take a risk for future US travel against a month or two of waiting for an appointment?

What will you write in statutory questions asked during the citizenship application for this administrative refusal?

There are some cases where some people whose work permits were expiring and therefore needed to activate their PR as soon as possible. But I completely agree if the refusal goes into record, I don't think it's worth it and prefer schedule appointment at IRCC office instead.

Hi may I please ask a quick question. I am a Pakistani Citizen with visitor visas both to US and Canada. My LMIA was recently approved for a job in Saskatchewan. Since the work permit application from Pakistan can take as long as 18 weeks (or more), I was wondering if I can flagpole (arrive in Canada on visitor status and cross the border for work permit)

If so, what documents are needed other than my passports, Job offer and approved LMIA copy
Is there a border close to Saskatchewan where anyone had a recent experience

Thanks

Now the issue is i dont drive and the person who is driving me is a permanent resident in canada but doesnt have the us visa. So can he like stay on the canadian side and would I be able to cross the border on foot for flagpolling?

Guys, for those who are planning to do the landing or have landed by flagpoling, will/did you get a piece of paper from US border mentioning that you were refused entry to the US? I saw couple of threads in the forum mentioning that flagpoling is great since it can save time for us to schedule a landing appointment, however, there will be a record in US border that you have been administratively refused due to flagpoling. Thanks.
Yes. You will get a white paper mentioning the refusal. And yes there will be a record of rejection. However that will not affect any future US Visa applications negatively. When asked if you were rejected before you will have to answer YES.
