Hi all
Please I need to inquire about the situation if I have a valid uae resident visa and I am applying for Canadian citizenship.
Is there any problem if I really stay in canada and I just go to uae for visit.
So I fulfilled my eligibility period, can the officer during the interview reject my application due to this matter?
Thanks in advance for answering my query.

There is no issue as pointed by zardos,
But there is a section in the citizenship application Q 13 which says to mention all countries you have held immigration or citizenship status, so you have mention it in the section failure to mention it may create issues.

many people believe that having the uae visa is not immigrant status, but in fact it is immigrant status, so be careful when you fill the form.

Thanks for highlighting this point, but someone worked in gulf country and he did not mention about gulf visa in Q13 but clarified that in travel history it is already mentioned. I am really confused about what to mention in Q13 if there was visa for family which was valid when left. Appreciate your advise.
