Hello all !

I ve been reading a lot of threads in this forum.

Some of the comments say that there are some factors that make the citizenship faster, like the city where you currently live in Canada (or province), if you are doing your post-graduate studies in Canada, your country of birth, if you currently work with the provine or Gov of CAnada ... ?

Is it the case please ? if so, what are the other factors. I have seen some people getting their citienship in 3 months :)

Thanks FOLKS !!!

Who knows? It is what it is..

Rule No 1 in immigration: Don't worry and don't compare your application with others.

I heard if you need TN visa for a new job in the US or your current passport is expiring soon but you need to travel , you can ask for urgent processing ....

Other than the Urgent Processing, there is no factors and no way to make your application go faster. It's true that some cities recorded slower processing time than others but it's still random because I've seen applicants from these "slow" cities that got their citizenship in 4 month while others in other cities that are supposed to be faster got their citizenship +18 months. So there is really no way to do anything about it

TN visa to speed up the Canadian citizenship process? That’s even less than an urban myth. IMHO citing this reason will raise more eyebrows at IRCC and prolong the process.

Citing the passport to expire? This might work, if you can prove that 1. you can’t prolong it, 2. you need to travel abroad due to serious illness or death.

See https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/canadian-citizenship/become-canadian-citizen/apply/urgently.html

And trust me - job section refers to Canadian jobs, not US ones.
