I am submitting citizenship application

I spent last 3 years continuous in canada and I spent more than 183 days continous in my home country before landing in canada but this is the fourth year.......
Do i need to submit police certificate or not

If I’m not mistaken, you need to submit police certifications in case you were more than 183 days for the last 5 days.

I remember I definitely submitted for the PR process.

I am also in the same situation.. did you find out if PCC is needed for previous stay in home country?

Please refer to the following note from IRCC,

Note: If you were in your country or territory of origin immediately prior to becoming a permanent resident and landing in Canada and this time falls within the four (4) year period, you are not required to provide a police certificate. Please indicate this in the explanation box provided in the application form.

I am from Pakistan but currently living in UAE. I am preparing for my documents post ITA and I am confused with the Required PCC as well as the dates within those PCC.

My dates are as below:
Apr 2008 till date - Dubai (this covers 10 years period)
September 2003 till Apr 2008 (UK)
From birth till Aug 2003 (Pakistan)

During my period in UK and UAE, I have visited Pakistan regularly once and twice a year.

can someone suggest which countries I need to get PCC from?
What dates needs to be mentioned in my PCC from Pakistan? Is it till Aug 2003 or till date?

do I require to get PCC from UK? I left UK 11 years ago.

2). Get one from Pakistan also ONLY IF you were in Pakistan for more than 183 days within the 4 years prior to signing your citizenship application .

The query does NOT appear to be about an application for citizenship.

Rules for police certificates are DIFFERENT for immigration applications, governed by IRPA, IRPA Regulations, and policies for visa applicants.

Clue that this query was not about police clearance for a citizenship application (one among many; particularly in other posts by @Sywaseem):

@Sywaseem: I am not following particular rules or policies for visa applications. See discussions in this site specifically about the type of visa you are applying for. AND, MORE IMPORTANTLY, follow the instructions for your application. The instructions regarding police clearances are generally straight-forward.

keep update Please. do you need PCC from UK ? Cuz i had read from another threat ,someone was required to submit the pcc from uk(2000).
