Guys, quick question here, did you receive the hard copy of confirmation with which you need to attend the test??

“We sent you a notice on May 7, 2019 to appear and write the citizenship test on May 23, 2019 at 3:30 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us”

Cause I only received the confirmation in email, but not in regular mail... any thoughts here?

Good Morning Everyone,

Finally I received My Oath Invitation , Just want to share my experience on receiving the Oath invitation. My Status Online was Showing a letter was Sent on May 8th for Oath, but no email was received. I waited and was surprise to find the Oath invitation was sent by mail this time.

Admin Please Update My Status:

Oath Invitation May 8th, 2019
Oath Date May 28th, 2019

Good Luck for all of you, Just last Advice Be Patient , its matter of time.

Only by email, but you have to print it and have it with you. They will ask for it.

Thank you to everyone in the forum who has so patiently answered questions and shared experiences.
I had my oath yesterday in the Scarborough area (Chinese Center), and today my ECAS reads
Citizenship Application Status: Complete
Additional line 6. You became a Canadian Citizen on May 15, 2019.
I just went to the passport office at 1pm and applied for a passport and I'm getting it tomorrow May 17, just in time to use it on the long weekend!
To those still waiting for status progress (especially the 2017 applicants like me) - be patient, don't lose hope, you'll become citizens soon!

Yes, I did. I had gotten cheaper bus tickets to the U.S. and a BNB reservation just in case I didn't get the passport in time - so I wouldn't feel bad about the cost of the "throw-away" flight/ticket/reservation. But now that it's confirmed, I booked my flight. The only thing I worried about is that the guarantor and 2 references really have to pick-up their phones, otherwise, they won't issue the urgent passport. One of my references is in school so she can't pick-up the phone to respond. So, the Passport office left a message for her to leave a return message, and, they called me to remind her to leave a return message to confirm the response to their questions. Passport office will access it first thing tomorrow, and, they will only issue the passport if she leaves the message answering the questions. But she'll leave one tonight!

I Know People submitted applications on April Start Getting the test Invite , It will come it matter of time.

Check your email and there is one PDF file attached. This is the letter that you will need to bring with you for test.

Took the oath yestreday at Mississauga location at 1230. It was a long journey from PR to citizenship process. Thank you everyone who has supported with their knowledge and experience to make this journey easier and with a happy ending. I wish & pray for all those are waiting for faster process, I hope for all you who are waiting...it is just around the corner, wish you good luck and all the best. My timeline is as following:
App Sent : 12 Feb 2018
AOR : 13 Mar 2018
Inprcs: 01 May 2018
Test Invite: 04 April 2019, Test Date: 24 April 2019 (Mississauga) Ecas updated with DM: 27 April 2019
Oath Invite: 30 April 2019 Oath Date: 17 May 2019

Mee.. only the difference is my file still is in security clearance. I am also waiting since jan 2018

Hopefully you get a response soon
Now call centre agents told me that security background is completed - it’s a relief
To be honest - I can not trust them at this point until I see an email for the test invite
Apparently- the processing office has one month to respond inquiries from the call center agents -
When should I expect this invite any other thoughts ?

Last week Me and my wife's ECAS status changed to Decision made (DM). But for my kids still, ECAS shows as In-Process and they're under 14.

Is this normal or will have to wait for the Oath invite until their status to changed Decision made??
