Hi,
should the proof of funds include the amount of transportation to and from canada, in this case the amount of two one way plane tickets?

At the moment I only have enough to show one one way ticket amount either it will be for the trip to canada or from canada, my family member can pay for the flight to canada but only after acceptance should i explain this in my sop?

thanks

Found my own answer here:

Yes we do need to prove that we have available financial resources to pay for our flights to and from canada so about 2000$ extra need to be added to proof of funds example 10.000$ + 2000$.
hope this helps anyone else.

  1. Pay the tuition fees for the course or program of studies that they intend to pursue;

  2. Maintain themself and any family members who are accompanying them during their proposed period of study; and

  3. Pay the costs of transporting themself and the family members referred to in paragraph (b) to and from Canada.
