Hello,

I'm having great difficulty with this whole Express Entry process, and I was hoping someone could help me out. I thought I was perfectly eligible for EE until I created and submitted my profile and was told that I'm ineligible.

Here's my background:
  • Graduated with a bachelor's degree from a Canadian university;
  • Now working in a Noc B level job on a post-graduation work permit;
  • I have 1 year of work experience at this job;
    • It's a full-time job on a 35 hrs/week basis;
    • It's not an LMIA-supported nor LMIA-exempt job;
  • I have valid IELTS scores which should earn me the maximum CRS points; and
  • I have 1 year of foreign work experience in a Noc A level position, which I can prove with an official letter from the company.
Based on my profile above, am I not eligible for EE? Do I need an LMIA to be eligible? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I feel so lost and frustrated.

Thank you for your help in advance..

Thanks for the reply. That's what I'm not so sure about. I'm closely reviewing my profile again and I've answered all questions correctly.

There's one question that asks about "Four digit NOC code of current work permit" - and it's a required field so I chose the NOC digit of my current occupation, but to be exact, there's no such number on my work permit as the one I have is an open work permit.

I also put more than an enough amount for proof of funds. Yes, I have dependents but I checked the chart and the amount I put down is well over the minimum.

This is so frustrating.
