Probably just wait and watch for communication from IRCC, and respond to that accordingly.

Generally speculation about why a PR card application is subject to non-routine processing does not reveal much, not even after you learn what sort of non-routine processing it is . . . which can range from Secondary Review to a referral to the local office for Residency Obligation examination or even investigation, with other procedures in-between ranging from Quality Assurance measures to referrals to the PSU.

You were obviously cutting-it-close so it is no surprise your PRC application is subject to some degree of non-routine processing, which can delay the process briefly, by weeks or a few months, or it can result in lengthy delays, some Secondary Review cases taking up to and occasionally even longer than a year.

Assuming you took care of things like getting your Canadian drivers license and health care coverage, you do NOT actually need a PR card now . . . unless you travel abroad and need it to fly back to Canada. But travel abroad probably NOT a good idea at this time give the extent to which you were cutting-it-close.

Bringing this back around to the short answer: Probably just wait and watch for communication from IRCC, and respond to that accordingly.

My other question is if you arrived with you family in January 2015. How were you able to sponsor your parents for PGP2017?

yesterday I got my application back stating that your permanent resident application is not complete and therefore is being returned to you for following reason.
1.your primary identity document is missing, unacceptable or expired.(wheare as I send them driving licence and bc I'd and both are valid.
2. Application dated more than 90 days befor being received by IRCC will require that you update your absence, resign and redate the application, otherwise the application will be returned as incomplete .

I request senior members to have a look for given reason and advice me for next step.
