@Bryanna Can I scan and email to my mother a notarized invitation letter to include in her application? Can I also email for her to print out my notice of assessment, employment letter and bank statements? Or must all these documents be notarized and sent by courier to her?

On the CIC website, it does not say that the invitation letter needs to be notarized. Could you kindly double-check and confirm this?

Again, many thanks for all your help
Yes, you can send these documents to her through email

Sorry to kinda repeat the question. For the notarized invitation letter, is it acceptable if I scan and email to my mother for her to print it and to attach to her paper application? I just want to be sure to avoid delays. Thanks a million

@ Bryanna:

I have submitted paper application for super visa for my mother on May 15. She did not do medicals upfront. We wanted to have the High Commission process and let us know the next steps.

This morning, she has received an email that says -

Dear Applicant/Cher(e) Client(e),

We would like to inform you that your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office, on 31 May 2019 to the Canada Visa Application Centre.

You can track the status of your application through our website mentioned below using your tracking number: XXXXXXXXX.
http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada

There was no request for medical. What does the email above mean? That her application has been refused? Why will they return the passport without medicals if there's possibility of approving her visa? I know that I should wait until Monday to get the passport and any correspondence from the VFS but am really anxious.

Any experiences on similar cases?

I have also linked the paper application to online prifle (GCKey) to check status and below is what it says today:

Details about your application status

Application step Current status

Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements
Review of medical results You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes
Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

If you can provide any information from your vast experiences, I will appreciate and it will help calm my nerves!

Thanks as always. Be blessed and stay blessed

@Bryanna

We got the passport back from the High Commission. There was a little note enclosed saying...

"important office regarding your application has been sent to the email address you provided. Check your spam/junk folder and if you believe that there is an error in your email, please send us an email at this address....

I emailed them but I received the standard reply that if my application is within the regular processing times, I should wait for further communication before contacting them again.

There is no email from there in inbox or junk. I don't know what's going on. I linked to GC account and it says that they are in the process of reviewing eligibility.

My question is why they returned the passport? There is no medical request and very sketch communication.

Any suggestions or ideas? I am really worried.
