Not exactly the same situation, but kind of in the same boat.

Our LVO is Manila, but since my mom currently stays in Canada with her Super Visa, and as she is from one of Visa Exemption country, I sent the photocopies of her passport to Ottawa in April 15 which they received on April 17. For more than a week, I have not seen any update on MyCIC account, so I was trying to call CIC yesterday and today, but wasn't able to get on the line.

So when you call them, did they say that they will start the investigation on what happened?

Usually when I looked up the history on other people, it only took about two weeks to get the passport and COPR back. And from what I read, it looks like that they update MyCIC account's application to Approved before they send the passport back to us. Did your application status get updated?

I will keep trying to speak with an agent to find out what's happening. Hopefully it's just large amount of works to be done for 2019 PGP since they just sent out the invitations... :(
Erah thanks for sharing. I sent out passports on April 16tth and arrived 17th. today I called CIC and was told they had no record in the system that passports had been received. That worries me as the representative told me CIC's rule was passports need to be processed within 2 weeks. And because tomorrow is 10th business day they would have received the package, I can only call them on Thursday if nothing turns up. So I guess same for you. no point calling them tomorrow since they will only be able to start investigation on Thursday. Good luck to both us!

Nothing has changed in myCIC since they didn't even show receiving the passport in their system. It is still BC checking.

Plz reply! Help needed!
So the deadline to file your taxes is today. CRA needs time to process and then send you notice of assessment for 2018. On what basis will CIC require 2018 when legally until today you are given time to get your taxes filed?
We shall see in the coming months if anything additional for 2018 will be requested but too early to tell now.

Hi everyone,

I posted this in the pho 2019 thread but figured I’d give it a shot here and ask the seniors

I am having trouble with IMM 5669 question 3. I nor my father knows his fathers date of birth. CIC say to put * if the date is unknown but when I do I still can’t validate the form. I have tried a lot of combinations ****-**-** which is the format for year/month/day and still no luck.

Does anyone know what I can do? Does the form have to be validated or can I send it in not validated because of the date of birth unknown?

The document check list states that the form must be validated but on the website says that if you don’t know the date of birth you can hand write it?? It also say that the form won’t be validated. It seems contradicting and I am just not sure what to do.

Hi guys,

Ndvo requested original pcc for my parents, we couriered it to them today but it is a po box address that was mention on their letter.

Have anybody sent any documents to NDVO using a courier? Could you please advise if couriers can deliver to Po box ? We used DTDC to send documents

Hello guys i have posted this question in 2019 group no reply yet. So thought to ask seniors who have more experience from last year. Please answer

Hello everyone!!

I am separated from my husband from last three years i dont even know where he is. We dont have any children and doenst have anything in joint like bank account etc. And i am filling tax as separated status from last three years I need to know do i have to count my husband while calculating family size? I dont have any court separation agreement. I will be applying for divorce this week. I am thinking to put petition from lawyer that i have filed my divorce which will show separation date on it. Do i still have to include my husband in family size calculation. Please let me know if anyone has same situation or any experience.

Thanks

If not legally separated then i believe you have to count him in.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
hello everyone! I am one of the 2019 applicants now fill out application. I was wondering if you could be so kind to advice me with my current situation and let me know if my action makes sense for such. Your advice is much appreciated. Thank you very much.

Schedule A – Background/Declaration (IMM 5669)
Question 6:
Provide the details of your personal history since the age of 18, or the past 10 years, whichever is most recent.

Does anyone have the same situation as me? For the past 10 years, my parents made several trips outside of their country and each trip was less thsn 6 months, so instead of putting all of these trips in the form, I am including an additional page with the excerpt of Question 6, providing all travelling destination, duraction (all were less than 6 months), they have made over 60 trips past 10 years to 25 countries, if I am including all these, it would like crazy. Any advice? Thanks
