Got the PR Visa already

Hello,

First of all I would like to thank everyone who supported me with my journey here.
Finally got the PR Visa for pick-up. Everyone here is very supportive and really appreciate all the quick replies and I hope I can help as well folks

I do have some questions though
1. Is it possible for me to still go to another country (or countries) for tourism before going to Canada? I have 3 countries in line in the next two months mostly because of cheap fares Will be going to China, Japan, and then Australia and we have prearranged this already some months ago with packages already paid

2. How many months more do I have before I should go to Canada?

I am really eager to go soon however, I would like to know as we have paid already for those travels that we are having soon

of course you can travel...but you need to land in Canada before your immigrant visa expired..there is an expiration date on it, check it out

Your COPR will expire one year from the date of your medicals. You must land in Canada before the COPR expires.

If you land, and then lave Canada, you will not be able to re-enter Canada by air without either your PR card or a PRTD. PRTDs have no timelines for approval and require you to be in one place long enough to collect it.
