February 2019 Citizenship Applicants

Hey guys. My application was delivered on Feb 18, but I haven't received any news so far, neither AOR nor returned package. I called CIC today, and the agent said they were opening the applications received on Feb 22. He checked using my name and my UCI, but no record was found. He said it might have been returned due to missing information. I have photocopied everything and I doublechecked them today, and nothing was left blank on my forms. Anyone else whose applications submitted before Feb 22 still waiting for AOR?

I’m the Feb 22nd applicant too, I received my returned package on April 23rd. The returned letter was written on Aril 10th.

Me I did not receive anything yet. Still waiting! Probably if there where some kind of issues (missing docs) I think they should have sent it back while ago as they did to you...

I am sorry to hear that. What was the reason of return?

In my wife’s form, we forgot to check a box in Q#16. So they returned the whole package. Not sure how it was missed

I received the AOR yesterday as previously mentioned, I was trying to check ECAS and it finally worked but when it opens it shows two blocks
The first one says YOUR CURRENT HOME ADDRESS and this shows my current address in Canada that I provided with my application.
The second block shows YOURY CURRENT MAILING ADDRESS
And this shows an address back home(Egypt) that I provided in the immigration process before coming to Canada and I no longer live there
Is this a mistake that I should try to contact them to fix?
I clearly wrote my address in the application and it is the same as mailing address.
Anyone encountered the same problem?

You don’t need to contact them. You can change through ECAS. Enter your current address and click mailing address is the same as current address. They will update that.

I had same issue. My current address was the one where I am living now and mailing address was set to the one where I landed. I updated mine through ECAS.

Congratulations to all those who have received their AORs. I'm Feb 22nd applicant and my package was returned today. In my wife's application they wrote:

Your application for Canadian Citizenship was considered incomplete and was not processed and fees were not taken. Your application and proof of payment are therefore returned to you for the following reasons:
Your application is incomplete or missing information. Incomplete sections have been highlighted on your application See section "Step 4 - Complete the application" in the instruction guide.

I forgot to check box in question# 16, I acknowledge the citizenship act. Not sure how I made such a silly mistake. I'll be submitting the file again.

In my application they wrote: your application is considered complete. However, as you submitted your application for concurrent processing with a family member whose application was incomplete, the entire package is being returned.to you. Please resubmit this application and your documents with the completed application for your family members.

Since my application is complete, Is it okay if I send them same application back without any change? Or do I need to fill the forms with new dates and new physical presence calculator? I'll be changing the dates for my wife and physical presence though from Feb to April 2019.

Send same application with cover letter. Please make sure that no more than 90 days between date of signature on the application and new date of receiving.
I had my application returned back since I forgot to send copy of kids birth certificate in original language, I sent only the translation. But I did not update the physical presence or anything. Just added the missing documents and cover letter and that's it.

You can change it from the ECAS.
BTW I am from Egypt as well.

May I ask what is the the number you called, and at what time of the day. I tried to call them many times with no luck.
