Hi
Iam a cosigner in the application for sponsorship
Iam currently on Maternity benefit and wont be joining job after that
Though we meet income for 2016,2017 and 2018 but we wont meet for 2019

What do you suggest as cic doesn’t ask for 2019 income?
How would they know?
Anyone been in this situation
Pl reply
Thanks

While applying PR for parents -
Is the processing time faster if my parents are already here in Canada on Visitor Visa (compared to if they are applying from India)?
My parents are in India, but they have a visitor visa. If the processing time is faster they can come here in Canada to apply for PR.

Document checklist does not state any photo requirement. Is there anywhere else it is mentioned? What else we need to send that is not stated in document checklist?

It's not be included in the initial package. Check guide and checklist. IRCC will send out instructions for biometric, PCC and medicals later in the process.
but cic says something different.
check it

""""""""""We encourage you to give your biometrics as soon as possible after getting the BIL. We will start processing your application after we get your biometrics.""""""""""

Email them filled forms and they will print it and sign it then send you back by courier. Most courier companies takes 5 business days to deliver.
Make sense.

If you are sponsoring your parent ( mom , dad)
then you don't have to provide their birth certificate.
you must have to provide your birth certificate.

The sponsorship application has to be approved before they consider the PR application for the parents/grandparents. I don't see them asking for biometrics until they start looking at the PR application (just my opinion though)

My parents are in India, but they have a visitor visa. If the processing time is faster they can come here in Canada to apply for PR.
Why do you think your parents will have an advantage over processing times if they are here in Canada? If they want to visit, let them visit and let the course of processing take place. Take note that you have to take medical and if other requirements are asked for you and your applicants, so take that into consideration.
