Would withdrawal of refugee claim affect me in the future

I crossed the american boarder and asked for refugee asylum in Montreal then after 3 days I decided to withdraw my claim , im now back in my country
My question is does this affect me if im planning to have study visa in Australia or uk ?
And how long im banned from entering usa and canada ?

Yes, more than likely. It's quite possible that the countries that share information will now consider you an overstay risk and refuse any temporary visa applications. Your chances of getting a visa for any of the Five Eyes countries are probably close to zero now. This may also extend to many European countries as well.

Don’t believe “ banned”, but by applying for asylum then withdrawing it’ll probably cause long term repercussions when you apply for entry into other countries, especially between the Five Eyes and other information sharing treaties those countries have with other countries .
Chances are more than likely close to zero
As you can now understand applying for asylum is a big thing , one that a person should NEVER do lightly
One question though, How’d you go from being a person needing protection from your country to not needing protection over the course of three days ???

I would have thought that the OP would have done, if only to retrieve their passport.

Getting your passport back so quickly makes me wonder if the passport was ever submitted.

Looking at his history he may have thought this would be an easy way to gain admission and study in Canada. Yes asylum should always be the last option someone should consider. If you have other options like PGWP or economic immigration go for that.

Just realized that I had advised the OP for a TRV. He was probably refused a TRV and, hence, entered through the US.

You can safely assume that you will not be issued any temporary visas to Canada for several years. And, if you were issued a TRV then it was canceled after you applied for asylum.

Canada shares information with other visa-required countries, including through agreements with Australia and the UK. So, chances of getting temporary visas/student visas to those countries are slim to none

No it won’t as long as you are upfront about all of your various applications. It will likely cause problems for family members looking to come to Canada on a temporary basis.
