The email from CIC is in plain English and is self explanatory. Carry a printout of this with you if you are still worried.

A friend arrived last weekend and wasn't even asked about it by CBSA.

All the best
Thank you, for the reply.
Now it feels bit comforting.

Hi i have got my visa stamped in passport as my study permit has been approved, its been more then 15 days i haven't received LOI, so i emailed to Consulate general of Canada in Bengaluru regarding not receiving the LOI. So i got this reply

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Consulate General of Canada in Bengaluru.

Please note that the visa in your passport is all you need to travel to Canada. Immigration officials in Canada are able to access the information in our system to issue your study or work permit upon arrival.

Enjoy your stay in Canada!

Sincerely,

Prompt reply appreciated.

Thank you in advance

I am also facing the same problem. Did you face any issues at immigration check for not having Correspondence letter?

Thank you so much for the reply.I have been asking this question in many platforms and finally i got the answer.
Don’t worry, immigration in Canada is very nice, they don’t bother you. The process was quite easy and smooth they did not ask me a single question. The officer just took my passport and issued the study permit
