If I may
Dear friends, I got nominated on April 1st ! Hope all you guys could get invitations as soon as possible!
my final timeline:
2019-01-24: NOI
2019-02-02: submitted
2019-03-15: receipt of complete application (assessment)
2019-03-26: decision in progress
2019-04-01: approved
If I may, Ginger: I've read here that OINP doesn't send you an "approved" email, instead your are prompted to check your CIC account for a new message and asked to accept or decline the nomination.
Is that what happened to you as well?

yes exactly! you will be directly notified by a CIC mail and then you should log into your cic account to accept the nomination.

Folks, I'm pleased to report that my OINP FSSW nomination finally came through. 600pts already added and I'm excitedly waiting for ITA...hopefully next week.

Timeline:
NOI received: 7 Feb
Submitted app/AOR: 20 Feb
Assessment: 18 March ; DIP: 27 March
Nominated: 8 April

Best wishes to all...I hope OINP very soon resumes sending NOIs for the French stream.

Congratulation for your nomination.

Btw, I have something to ask: In my EE profile, my current job (just started from Dec 2018) is intentionally left out because I don't want to alert my employer of my intention of moving abroad (I'm gonna tell them eventually but not right now at this early stage). My question: is it considered by OINP misinterpretation in any way ?
Thanks guys.

Merci bien, @thebluetung

I noticed you have the option in your EE profile to list your "work experience", for which you can claim points, as seperate from "personal history".

The OINP app didn't have that distinction. It required a list of all jobs in the last 10yrs and references for all.
I'd err on the side of being completely transparent. You could provide copies of payslips, contracts, etc as proof, then include in a LOE why you can't provide the work reference at this time.
I don't think your concerns are unreasonable and hopefully OINP won't...

Thank you DanBraun69, I will certainly look into it more carefully when the time come.

Ontario will create a new immigration stream for tech workers and a new immigration pilot initiative with the goal of attracting highly skilled immigrants to smaller communities around the province, the province’s government announced April 11 in its 2019 budget.

Since nomination allocation for Ontario doesn't change much this year, my guess is that this stream will have big impact on the HCP stream.

For FSSW i'm not sure though. In theory they have a annual quota for French speakers but god knows what they are planning overthere.

It would be interesting to see this works in practice. I know of a number of tech folks who are waiting in the low depths of the EE pool. This could be a lifesaver.
As for the FSSW, we can only hope whatever OINP is panning involves resuming the draws real soon.
