Hi,
I had to postpone my Oath Ceremony (OC) in November in Mississauga and haven't heard back since.
I followed the required steps (sent a letter ahead of the date explaining the reason), called on the day and received a confirmation, followed up a couple of times in between, but all I was told was that my application and the scheduling of a new ceremony would move "to the end of the line" and that I should wait.
In my case it was 5 months from the test (in May) to scheduling the OC (which I was invited to in October).
I wonder if anyone else had to postpone their OC and what their wait time was?
Cheers

I have a friend who had his Oath ceremony on Nov 20, 2018. But was out of country, so requested to reschedule. And the next date he got was March 21, 2019.
P.S. He did his test on June 19, 2018 and the processing center was Saskatoon.

In case anyone is in the same situation and finds this post, I got my second invite in the middle of April for the beginning of May, so from first oath date to second oath date it was exactly 6 months.

Missed my oath in Mississauga too in July, did you receive a first or final notice? We reached out to our local MP, sent the local IRCC multiple letters and webforms too.

ccto, I had to postpone my husband's and my oath date too, but we did not have such a long wait. We were invited in late April for an early May oath date in Scarborough, sent the letter immediately requesting a new oath date, and in July, after making some inquiries, received a new oath date for end of August in Mississauga.
I did not try to phone them but when it reached July and I was getting nervous, I used the case-specific inquiry box available when looking at our status online, just to ask them, "Hello. Two months ago, my spouse and I were scheduled for an oath date (May 10) that we could not attend. We sent a paper letter in advance, as required, but cannot determine whether the letter was received, and have not received a new oath date. Is there any way to find out if our letter was received and if we are receiving a new oath date? Thank you." And they replied just eight days later. I do not know if this made any difference at all but I wondered if inquiring that way moved someone to re-open our file and move us into line.

What is your processing office?

I've sent them 3 letters, the first letter stated our oath was in June so we quickly sent another letter clarifying that it was in July and the officer put a note on our file and clarified that, and also put a note saying we'd be rescheduled 100%. Also sent a third letter asking for urgent processing as a family member intends on joining the army. We also submitted all of these as web forms and to top that off we contacted our local MP who contacted the IRCC through a special line they have and they were told that we were in the next batch to be rescheduled, but that was 2 weeks ago. We're still waiting, our initial oath date was July 24th in the Mississauga office but hopefully we get rescheduled soon. :(
